A pair of former manufacturing assistants-turned-assistant administrators have created a nonprofit in hopes of offering monetary support to PAs who’ve been put out of labor as a result of strike.

Katie Hacker and Andrea Block argue that almost all PAs don’t qualify for many of the strike reduction that’s out there on the market — to not point out how they’re already the bottom paid crew members on TV and movie initiatives. That’s why Hacker and Block shaped the Go for PAs Alliance in July.
