“Kiss from a Rose”

Seal is a multi-Grammy-winning singer and songwriter from England. His music “Kiss from a Rose” was first launched in 1994, on his second album. It was an enormous hit, thanks partially to being featured within the film Batman Eternally. It landed on the highest ten charts in a number of international locations, and finally went quadruple platinum within the US. On the 1996 Grammys, it received Tune of the Yr, Document of the Yr, and Finest Male Pop Vocal Efficiency.

“Kiss from a Rose” changing into successful was not a foregone conclusion, although. Seal nearly didn’t file it. And when it was first launched, it didn’t make a lot of a splash. However for this episode, Seal and his longtime collaborator, producer Trevor Horn, advised me the story of what it took to convey “Kiss from a Rose” to life.
